Welcome to the homepage of the Presidential Commission on Architecture Policy (PCAP).

As a presidential commission, the PCAP was founded based on the Article 13 of the Framework Act on Building. Our goal is to promote and improve architectural culture, territorial environment and quality of life by coordinating important architecture policies that have been so far dispersed across different ministries.


The fourth commission, joined by renowned and experienced professionals from academia and industries as well as experts from the media, legal, economic and real estate sectors, will review a variety of policies from a wider perspective.

We will advice on national administration for people-oriented architecture policy to promote safer, more convenient and healthier life of people.

We will lead the effort of creating energy-conserving cities that embrace green buildings and technological changes for better future. We will also strive to lay the foundation for blossoming architectural culture, infused with unique Korean culture and lifestyle.

In pursuit of greater architecture policy for people's happiness, economic revitalization and reunification of Korea, the PCAP will serve as a channel for communication and cooperation among academia, industries, central and local governments and citizens.
